DIH-HERO- DIH network for healthcare robotics
Areas mainly addressed: Healthcare
Main questions to be answered:
· What are common challenges in deploying robots in the clinical setting?
· How did the innovators from the field overcome these challenges?
· How does dedicated DIH-HERO deployment support help?
WS Description: The deployment of robotic applications in healthcare-related settings is essential to bring new innovations to the market to the best benefit of the patient. During the workshop, innovators from the field who are deploying robots in 4 different clinical settings across 4 different countries will share their experiences regarding the challenges faced and the successes achieved within the DIH-HERO COVID-19 Response and Deployment projects. The audience will be involved interactively, to identify the needs and perspectives of the different stakeholders in healthcare robotics and see how DIH-HERO services can be extended, to serve the community.
Outcomes:
•Opportunities and challenges faced when deploying a robotic application in a healthcare setting.
•Interactive discussion to identify needs and perspectives of the healthcare robotics community.
Intended outcome: Workshop discussion topics of common interest, success stories, use cases, etc, Workshop on recent developments in technology or applications, Information about community involvement and services offered (e.g. DIHs, open calls, platforms, …)
