Project cluster relation: Yes: S+T+ARTS Prize has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme under grant agreement No. 956603.
Areas mainly addressed: B2B and innovation
Main questions to be answered:
· How can cross-disciplinary collaboration between artists and industry drive innovation and new product development?
· What are the key success factors for this type of collaboration?
· How can artists’ unique perspectives and creative problem-solving approaches help industry overcome innovation challenges and leverage emerging technologies?
WS Description: This workshop explores the potential for cross-disciplinary collaboration between artists and industry to drive innovation and new product development. Drawing on real-life examples, we will examine the key success factors for these collaborations, and explore how artist can be involved in industrial product- and process design to foster innovation, creativity, and problem-solving in industry. The workshop will be structured as a moderated discussion with the panelists, followed by a Q&A session. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration in their own organisations.
Intended outcome: The workshop aims to encourage cross-disciplinary collaborations and inspire new approaches to innovation. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the potential benefits of working with artists, and how to establish successful collaborations.
