Areas mainly addressed: Agile Production, Robotics and AI/Big Data Value, Autonomy, Collaborative Robots and cloud robotics, Control technology including virtualisation and edge/cloud

Main questions to be answered:

· What are the chances and challenges of next generation UIs in robotics training and control? Comments from audience after experimenting.

· How well XR environments are suitable for remote robotics training? Comments from audience after experimenting.

· How XR-technology and Digital Twins enable physical hardware interaction in robotics training? Comments from audience after experimenting.

WS Description: We introduce an interactive virtual training environment for remote education and training. Digital twins utilizing XR-technology enable immersive and augmented remote training of robots. For controlling, any mobile device or PC with an Internet browser, optionally XR equipment, can be used. We also present how robots can be controlled remotely from metaverse environment.

Physical robots will be present on the stage during our sessions, the audience can experience digital twins of physical robots as an Augmented Reality experience. At the beginning of each session a link will be provided for the audience to participate in the sessions with their own mobile devices to experience Augmented Reality training environments and digital twins during each session. The audience can also influence on progress of the sessions by Mentimeter, Miro Board and discussion at the end of each session.

Intended outcome: Workshop on recent developments in technology or applications, Novel format (e.g. interactive matchmaking session for technologies and applications), Workshop discussion topics of common interest, success stories, use cases, etc, Workshops engaging non-roboticists to understand needs/goals (policy, commercial, technical), Interactive experiment of robotics training to be remembered
